Yesterday my neighbors and I went to one of the largest fabric markets in China. Though there were thousands of shops they all had very similar fabrics and I couldn't find anything that was even close to period correct. I have been reunited with my beloved sewing machine and am settled in our new appartment. Our new home is beautiful. Though we live in Guangzhou we are so far out of the city it feels like a little villiage. We do have access to the Subway so easy enough to get into the city. I haven't sewn for ages and it's driving me mad! And today it doesn't get any better, today I boxed up all my sewing things ready to be shipped to Guangzhou.
